site clearly indicates that the music festival will go international on April 2 and April 3, 2011. According
to the reports, Perry Farrell, the founder of this musical concert has decided to rock the audiences of
Santiago, Chile in its first international tour.
The news that Lollapalooza musical concert will become an international phenomenon has received
a huge attention of the fans. They were delighted to know that their favorite concert, which has
entertained people in different parts of the United States, will now move out to Chile. Not only the fans
but also the promoters of this event are also quite excited about the April tour to Santiago.
According to the reports, William Morris Agency and C3 Presents, the promoters of the concert have
considered about different locations and have finally selected Santiago because of its setting. Report
state, Santiago’s setting has some similarity with Chicago and will help in retaining the mood of the
concert. Not only that but also the place has several hotels, which will provide accommodation to the
fans, who will come from different places to see Lollapalooza’s first international event.
Reports say, O’ Higgins Park in Santiago, the selected spot for the event can hold 100,000 people.
Therefore, they hope the event to be a grand success. The concert will not only feature the popular
talents of the United States but also will feature some of the Chilean musical talents, which will increase
its craze further.
