Mariah Carey, who is pregnant, is expected to perform a couple of tracks from her newly unveiled holiday album in a broadcast in ABC, airing on the 13 of December.

Mariah will be hosting the “Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to You” on 12 days before Christmas day, airing at about 9 p.m. on ABC. A press release showed the event will have the singer who has confirmed her pregnancy performing some classics synonymous with the traditional holiday period, plus a couple of cuts right from her novel holiday album, entitled “Merry Christmas 11 You”.

The event will take place in Los Angeles in the Orpheum Theater. Carey, who is 41 years of age, serves as the executive producer of the program together with Joel Gallen.

Apart from her performances of the festive moment, the broadcast will as well offer fans the chance to enjoy seeing Carey’s candid footage as he helps and surprises fans to bring their wishes into fruition. In fact, the pop superstar recently joined up with the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” with ABC and surprised a family with refurbished residence.

Mariah Carey had expressed on the social networking site ‘Twitter’ that now after the end of Halloween she was now excited because of the ‘Merry Christmas 11 You’, asking fans to get festive as the filming of the show begins.

The show by ABC is a part of the Pop Diva’s promotion of her newly unveiled CD for the festive season that features some memorable songs.
