More products manufactured by Johnson & Johnson like Motrin Ibuprofen, Tylenol PM and Tylenol Arthritis may have serious medication side effects and the world’s largest health-products company is forcing more recalls. This contributed to corporation’s declining stock price, which were down 0.84 (-1.37%) to 60.54 today.

More concerns regarding NcNeil and Johnson & Johnson started even before 2009, when Food and Drug Administration received multiple complaints. It followed a long string of recalls which look to be costing the company tens of millions of dollars a month and generated more complaints from consumers regarding multiple medication side effects.

This was the eighth recall, it covers 21 lots of products sold in United States and other countries and it was caused by reports saying that some products have a musty or moldy odor. The health-care products giant said in its press release that the new lots were added to the recall as a precaution and the products affected were manufactured prior to the January recall. A company spokeswoman said also on Friday that they shipped about 2.5 million bottles of the affected lots involved in this recall, but other sources speak about 3 million bottles.

A group of consumers filed a lawsuit complaining against Johnson & Johnson recall policy which stipulates that without keeping and presenting receipts, the buyers won’t be able to receive money back. They are also worried about the effects of drugs that they bought and may touch the health of their families.
