A woman surveyed a memorabilia of Michael Jackson, fetching $1m along the way. The memorabilia was held at Hollywood Legends auction. This sale has been hailed as the largest memorabilia auction in the whole of Asia. MJ Memorabilia Fetched Big Bucks Michael Jackson’s memorabilia fetched the money in Macau, China. A basketball that had been autographed by the late king of pop and a former basketball superstar Michael Jordan fetched $245,000. This sale was also realized at Hollywood Legends Sale. This the highest sale that has been recorded in recent times not only in China, but in the entire Indochina region. As if that was not enough, an unidentified online bidder immediately paid $180,000 for the black crystal-studded glove that Jackson wore during the 1995 video shoot for the album entitled History. This is a very high amount for money for one to pay for a memorabilia of any kind. The other item offered for sale included a costume that Bruce Lee worn in Game of Death. However, Lee’s memorabilia did not fetch as high an amount of money as Michael Jackson’s attire. Moreover, Michael Keaton’s costume also went under the hammer. Other items include a burgundy, and the velvet ball gown that was worn by Princess Diana. The sale rekindled fond memories of the pop star, the basketball superstar, the movie star and the member of the British monarch who was extremely kind-hearted. All these items went under the hammer amid speculation that there would be very high competition, thus rising prices to record-highs. Image Credit: |
