Microsoft Hails Exemplary Vendor Service

The Microsoft Corporate campus in Redmond played host to the ninth Microsoft Vendor Program Vendor Excellence Awards. The Ms Vendor Program outlines its primary objective as fostering world-class procurement by providing the organization’s staff with a global, fast and straight-forward strategy to target and interact with pre-qualified vendors. This allows for cost cutting as well as rendering numerous advantages to the vendors.

Microsoft Exemplary Vendor Excellence wards

The Vendor Excellence Awards seek to acknowledge members of the Microsoft Vendor Program who have demonstrated innovation, impeccable service and excellent performance. The award-recipients are decided on by a committee of representatives across the organization and nominated by Microsoft staff. The basis of selection is demonstration of exemplary quality, service delivery, price, technology and organizational well-being.

The General Manager and Chief Procurement officer at Microsoft, Tim McBride, hailed the MSVP members for their commitment to provision of excellent results, responsive service and innovation. He went on to reiterate that they were the qualities that constituted the lifeblood of the company’s success.

MSVP is an affiliate of the Microsoft Company, which is renowned for its global leadership in software development, service and solutions designed to help individuals, and businesses achieve their goals.
