![]() Mike Tyson Mike Tyson is repairing his image speaking about family commitment and radical changing in his own life. In this retrospective attitude, the former heavyweight champion confessed during a candid interview that he accepted a role in hit comedy “The Hangover” just because he needed the money to feed his drug addiction. In his interview with ESPN Radio in Las Vegas on Monday he told that he was excited to play in “The Hangover” not because he thought the comedy was going to be an international success, but because he was supposed to sell some “stuff” on 42nd Street on bootleg and make a lot of money. In 58 career fights, Mike Tyson won 6 times by decisions and 44 times by knockout and he was the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles, when he was 21 years old. Twenty years later he shocked the world on June 3, 2005 when he told: “My whole life has been a waste – I’ve been a failure.” When he lost his four year old daughter Exodus in a tragic accident at home Mike Tyson felt like he was dying, but in the last fall he did a commitment to his wife and now he is another person. He wouldn’t consider nothing to do with boxing, he couldn’t do that no more, he said. Mike Tyson lost 130 pounds on a vegan diet, eliminating all animal products from his diet, including dairy or eggs and he reconnected with his wife and family. Image Credit: |
