NASA Launch Space Shuttle Postponed for the Fourth Time

NASA’s new Space Shuttle launch Discovery has been postponed again until Monday because of a leak of hydrogen.

NASA’s planed launch of the new Space Shuttle discovery failed to take place for the fourth time on Friday, thus pushed up to the specified date on Monday.

Discovery Flight Postponed Yet Again

The flight was scheduled to take off at 3:04 p.m. but the 39th discovery and last flight got cancelled six hours before take off EDT launch, on delivery of cargo mission headed to the ISS (International space Station).

The leak in hydrogen did develop within the venting system about the launch pad and the shuttle as liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen was flowing into the orbiters fuel tank.

NASA commentator, Allard Beutel, announced that the body would not be able to launch the shuttle Discovery on Friday but had been postponed to Monday, the earliest.

The shuttle Discovery is carrying a pod for storage, supplies and highly needed spare parts that the space station requires. In addition, there is a type of prototype robot humanoid to fly as a technical project for demonstration purposes.
