![]() NATURE & DEPRESSION A young man from Iasi and a woman from Ograda, Slobozia replicated the action of Madalina Manole, using similar substances to commit suicide. The young man from Podu Iloaiei, Iasi presumed that this will bring some glory over his death, according with his own words addressed to Doctor Tudor Ciuhodaru. The medical team was able to save his life and the media demonstrated more professionalism and wisdom at this time, refusing to reveal his identity, as long as this could rewarded his strange intentions to become a star in this way. Unfortunately the doctors from Slobozia could not save Elena Constantin because she swallowed the same toxic substance like Madalina Manole, consuming a major quantity. She was 58 years and she had three children. The words addressed to her husband before to die betrayed some negative intentions, but he disregarded this warning. It seems that Madalina Manole became a dangerous ‘role-model’, without intention. These shocking examples confirmed some theories of psychologists which sustain that any suicide has a degree of influence on others, even greater as the subject is more famous. It’s a difficult job for each publisher to describe such events without to reveal some details and also to accuse the gesture without to incriminate the person. However it looks like more people began to understand the decision of the Orthodox Church, which refused a full burial service for the popular singer because she committed “a grave sin”, so that Friday afternoon, a single priest performed a simple service for her. It is important to mention that in most forms of religion, suicide is considered a sin, but the church representatives mentioned two days ago that their decision was not a punishment for the soul of Madalina Manole, but a warning to others, which are looking for solutions to their problems or depression and they may tragically found inspiration in her death.
