Plane CrashSearch teams using a helicopter found the crashed private CASA C212 prop plane at Dima, inside Republic of Congo, in dense jungle. The plane was carrying 11 people from Australia, France, Great Britain and United States, but unfortunately, there were no survivors.

Mining magnate Ken Talbot, 59, one of Australia’s richest men, was an enthusiastic and humane person. He was also a devoted family man and the Mining industry is mourning him and the other leaders which were visiting some iron ore projects in Congo and Cameroon. They left Saturday from Yaounde (Cameroon) to Yangadou (Republic of the Congo). Weather conditions were good and the last communication was 30 minutes into the flight. Nothing indicated the plane was in any trouble.

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd expressed his regrets adding that they will make everything is possible to elucidate the cause of this tragedy. A team of French Military personnel has been secured the crash site and remained with the bodies.
