One Person Arrested after Fatal Motorcycle Crash

The police in South Carolina have arrested a driver after collision with a number of motorists where five people lost their lives.

Four people on bikes and a car passenger died from the accident on a desert motorway East of San Diego on Saturday.

Motorcycle Accident

The motorcyclists were marking the 10th anniversary since the founding of their club.

The driver called Carlos Ramirez Bobadilla, 36, was arrested for drunken driving according to a police statement.

Despite all these he is not being charged with the deaths based on the evidence available the police went on to say.

Mr. Ramirez hails from Mexicali in Mexico, was treated for a broken arm at San Diego hospital due to injuries sustained from the incident at Ocotillo (128 km) east of San Diego. Five more people sustained injuries from the accident.

Police are looking for another driver who is believed to have caused the accident by swerving into the path of the motorcyclists.

The motorcyclists belonged to the Saddletramps Motorcycle club, which is situated in Lakeside town.
