The mid-term elections have left the voters divided and drawn new battle lines in state politics. Now every one is confused on what happens next-gridlock or real progress. The Americans are confused and have been giving their thoughts to Yahoo for Oregon voters.

Oregon Election Aftermath Quite Telling

For the Republican Gov. elect John Kitzhaber getting back his seat has left some of the voters happy that he may take the opportunity to work with the increased number of Republicans and have more cooperation and have progress in the health care and bold corporations responsible for their actions.

Some of the voters are of the view that the more things seem to change the more they remain the same as the same politicians come giving promises that they never fulfill. They just say what the voters want to hear but will never be ready to remember to do what they say.

The politics have left others more optimistic on getting jobs and better schools which will be very good for future generations and more stable families and working conditions.

For Oregon to be viable in the business industry there have to be tax hikes for small businesses. The most important thing is that the split legislature is the best thing that could have happened to strike a balance but not stand offs that end up not paying on anybody, not even the politicians or their parties.

Immigration has to be dwelt with first before matters start to get out of hand; Oregon is a cosmopolitan state and has many immigrants. The immigrants feel unwanted.

Job creation like in many other American states and trade rules must be changed to cater for the changing times especially in the issue of joining trade unions.

The Oregon State has many issues overriding its viability and ability to compete with other states and fulfill its residents’ wishes.
