Osama Bin Laden together with a deputy of his are believed to be in Pakistan hiding differently but very near to one another, a NATO senior official has reported. The official who gave the information anonymously expressed that Osama and al-Zawahiri Ayman could be living inside houses and not in caves, while being protected by Pakistan members of intelligence community and residents. However, officials in Pakistan have denied vehemently that they are protecting the Al-Qaida top cream. Skeptical Media on bin Laden The NATO senior official said that bin Laden could have moved around the Mountainous area of Chitral just about the border with China near to the Tora Bora Afghanistan region to the Kurram Valley. The Media also reported that the official had confirmed that United States had assessed Mullar Omar, a Taliban leader who had moved about in the Karachi and Quetta, both Pakistani cities in the last couple of months. He was not sure how the military leaders lay hands to the intelligence report. Rehman Malik, an Interior Minister of the Pakistani government confessed on Monday there had been similar reports on Omar and bin Laden and were also disapproved, in denial that the two could never be in Pakistan. He also said they were running short of time, while the strategy seems geared towards increasing ground attacks and airstrikes that would put a lot of pressure on insurgent groups as well as the Taliban, compelling them to commence negotiations with the government of Afghanistan.
