Brad Keselowski took the spotlight by earning the pole position for the Sylvania 300 which will take place in New Hampshire. This is a huge benefit as it could mean a top place finish for Keselowski. The position on the track for starting out plays a vital role often in the outcome of the race.

This is the first top 10 finish for Keselowski so he and his team are very excited about it. He won that top spot over Clint Bowyer by less than a 10th of a second. This pole position is an advantage that he plans to use to his benefit. It can be part of the overall strategy he has to come away with the win.

Many are surprised to find that the change for the top 10 positions includes some new faces. Tony Stewart is in the 3rd place position and that is also going to make him a top contender for winning this race. However, many were shocked to find that both Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson aren’t in the top 10.

Yet others are skeptical about Keselowski winning. They believe that anything can happen in a race. The factors change when you have all the drivers out there too instead of just one driver qualifying for the race. Yet it will open up many possibilities so the Sylvania 300 should prove to be a very interesting race to watch. The winner of the race will walk away with the NASCAR Spring Cup.
