Prince William is engaged. The news of Prince William engagement with Kate Middleton has been declared by the royal family on Tuesday. Yet, the engagement ceremony had taken place in October. As expected, the news of this royal engagement has fuelled up several speculations related to their marriage. Reports state, the couple engaged for nine years are set to get married in 2011.
The royal family has not yet disclosed much detail of their wedding plans. However, some sources reported that the couple’s wedding ceremony will not be celebrated in St. Paul’s Cathedral. Princess Diana and Prince Charles had married in this historic building. Therefore, the news that Prince William will not tie their knots in this church has raised some eyebrows. The royal family is yet to confirm the venue of their marriage.
While the royal family is still maintaining confidentiality about the wedding ceremony of the couple, sources stated, Westminster Abbey may become the venue of the royal wedding ceremony. Though the marriage venue is so far not confirmed to the media, reports indicate media coverage of the wedding ceremony would be allowed.
In his statement, Robert Jobson, British monarchy authority said, after marriage, Kate Middleton will become Princess Katherine of Wales. Robert Jonson did not provide any further details of the news of their marriage. Report says, the royal family is trying to maintain complete privacy in this matter. Tight security arrangement has also been made for Kate Middleton so that she does not come under the media scanner before her wedding.
