Public Relations Veteran Hired by Comcast as its Strategic Advisor

Adam Miller has been hired by Comcast Corporation as senior advisor as it lines up its NBC Universal takeover. Adam Miller is a well-known executive in the echelons of public relations.

Miller was serving previously as the president of a communications firm, Abernathy MacGregor Group, where he had been since 1994. In his tenure, the public relations executive was involved in advising clients such as Viacom Incorporation, CBS Corp, Sony Corp and a host of other entertainment giants.

In addition, the public relations veteran was also involved with Comcast closely during its move towards taking control of NBC Universal. The merger between Comcast and NBC Universal will be approved later in the year by regulators.

After the deal has closed, Steve Burke, currently Chief Operating Officer for Comcast will be taking charge as the new NBC Universal’s chief executive. Burke described miller as one of those highly strategic and trusted advisers to large corporations’ senior management, “particularly in the media and entertainment industry.”
