Rick Sanchez and Jon Stewart in War of the Words

Art Spiegelman drew his epic holocaust comic book with a cat and mouse metaphor for the Nazis and the Jews respectively, but Rick Sanchez and Jon Stewart are engaged in an epic dirt-slinging match, where each considers the other as filthy-rich vermin.

After CNN’s Rick Sanchez drew first blood and branded Jon Stewart a bigot and got himself fired in the bargain for his anti-Semitic rant, Jon Stewart while hosting “Night of Too Many Stars”, could not resist hitting below the belt. Stewart said in the Comedy Central show that he was going to help Rick “clean up his office”. Stewart also said that Sanchez was a coked out guy spouting garbage at parties.

Rick Sanchez had in his earlier day on the job called Stewart “a bigot” and poured scorn at American media houses for being a Jewish-run affair. He then got down to ripping into the stereotype of Jews as an under-privileged minority fighting prejudices. The sarcasm against supposedly rich Jewish media moguls on the Sirius radio show cost Sanchez his job.

The book “Conventional Idiocy” was being pitched for on Rick Sanchez’s radio show, and his bone-headed idiocy about Jewishness, has the audience thinking that it is good riddance after all. Thankfully Sanchez had the good sense not to invoke “the 6 million Jews” or Auschwitz or his Faurisson act would have ended up with him being burnt on the stake. It remains to be seen how else CNN deals with damage control. So long, Rick Sanchez.

Rick Sanchez was not a news person, he treated news as entertainment. I utterly hated his holding back information “good or bad” until after the commercial while he grinned. IT’S THE NEWS, SPILL IT AND QUIT ACTING LIKE I WANT TO WATCH YOU! I DON’T!!! I TUNED IN FOR NEWS PEOPLE!!! NOT RICKS STUPID PICKS CRAP!!!

    Jon,
Keep them laughing BUDDY! If there is a real bigot out there, we know who he is now. ;)
