Matt Kemp is one lucky man. Luscious Barbadian-born singer Rihanna, the ‘Under my Umbrella’ hitmaker has revealed that she is in seventh heaven with Matt Kemp and is revelling in a new energy.

‘Access Hollywood’ reported in a tell-all interview that Rihanna opened up about past relationships too, including the shocking incident of abuse by ex Chris Brown who left her bruised and battered in a pre-Grammy bash up.

The domestic violence incident had rocked the world, with pictures of Rihanna surfacing with a busted up face, and anxious fans hoping she would not be scarred permanently. The all-new December edition of the U.K ‘Marie Claire’ sees Rihanna exude positive energy. She says that she cannot stop smililing and gushes about how being with Matt Kemp is just “pure bliss”.

Rihanna says that she would not cover up or forget her past as it was a spring board for her to learn lessons and take a fresh perspective on life. The 22-year-old termed the Chris Brown episode in February 2009 as necessary “wake-up call” in her life. Rather than breaking her down, she emerged a stronger person, and Rihanna has now turned into a believer in destiny.

As the personal front is looking up, so is her career. Rihanna’s much anticipated album titled ‘Loud’ is set to release on November 16. She will also debut with the film ‘Battleship’ co-starring Alexander Skaarsgard.
Hope that for Matt Kemp, Rihanna remains forever “Only Girl (In the World)”.
