Sarah Butler, who played a fairy-tale princess named Belle at Disneyland, is taking the role of the lead actress in the remake of “I Spit On Your Grave”.

Butler plays the role of a novelist named Jennifer who takes revenge after being ruthlessly assaulted sexually by her attackers. The movie poster portrays Butler’s rear part with her back turned, but the actress refused to admit that the movie was sexual in nature. She says in the movie, her character takes revenge by using her brains and brute force rather than sexuality and thereby captures and tortures her attackers.

However, the actress was quick to add that the movie contains several nude scenes, which are present to portray the tortures and pains and evoke a sense of sympathy and pity for Jennifer. Butler credited director Steven M. Monroe for making her comfortable while shooting the nude scenes.

Although, the torture that Jennifer inflicts on her attackers is much more torturous, the severity of the assault that she suffered helped to bring out the aggression in her. Thus the filming of the scenes chronologically helped her to take out the anger on the men.

Butler also said, a lot of the things shot in the movie were real like the real guns were used in the action scenes though without bullets. The stunts shot in fire and water were also real which terrified the actress and made her conscious of the violence inflicted on her.
