The Internet is heating up again, this time because of Scott Charney, the vice president of Microsoft of Trustworthy Computing, after he had said he desired to see at least the internet somehow policed, as he gave a speech on Tuesday in Berlin, on the conference ISSE 2010. Scott Charney, Third from Left: Believes in Strict Cyber Security Measures Charney says that be believes such measures once taken would monitor people better, especially those who release malwares online. He is one of the people who are hoping the Obama administration would be handling cyber security issues as he said in the conference that, in case a device is found to have some danger online, user should then be notified. The device should then be cleaned prior to allowing it unfettered online to minimize risks of the device already infected being a hazard to other devices. However, opinions from different quarters suggest that the Government and Charney are involved in discouraging different people from the use of the internet towards keeping them informed on issues affecting them and their world.
