Reality show star Sean Duffy along with his wife Rachel Campos celebrated his election win in Wisconsin. The duo were both cast members in the 1997 MTV show called ‘Real World: Boston.’ Sean Duffy with his glam wife alongside him, played down the reality star angle and focused instead on a serious image.

The conservative said on Tuesday that he had wooed voters with a focused campaign which laid the stress on fiscally responsibility and reducing deficits.

Though Sean Duffy and Rachel Campos said that a show that went back 15 years did not matter, MTV people are saying that in hindsight, the show does teach people how to joust with people who hold confrontational ideological positions, and how to negotiate between diverse rainbow groups.

Sean Duffy said that having won, he would try to workupon the vision that he had in mind for Wisconsin. The Democrats should enrol their candidates for an all-new Real World training ground which will give them tips on how to save face when you are shellacked, or avoid being shellacked in the first place.The blogosphere says that Real World could be the perfect breeding for wannabe politicians.

The trivia is that wife Rachel Campos was trying for the The View seat, but Elisabeth Hasselbeck too was in the running and the latter won. Sean Duffy was among a tide of resurgent Republican candidates who gave the Democrats a run for their money. People are wondering if more Real World stars like Trishelle are set to wade into political waters.
