Wedding bells are ringing for Los Angeles Lakers star Shannon Brown! He was engaged to Monica Denise Arnold. The 29 year old R&B singer uploaded a picture of her engagement ring on the social networking site Twitter this weekend. Monica is from College Park in Georgia while Brown comes from Michigan State. He is a star basketball player who has been playing for years in the NBA for teams like Charlotte Bobcats, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago bulls, and presently playing for the LA Lakers. “Love All Over Me” was a music video launched by Monica which featured Brown in it.
The relationship between Shannon Brown and Monica has been quite a controversial one. Monica was once termed as a “home wrecker” after there was reports of Brown dating Monica while he was still with his child’s mother. However, Brown denied the reports saying that he did not love his ex anymore and it had been lost since a long time back.
However, now whoever sees the couple starlet together say that they seem to be enjoying each other’s company.
Shannon Brown scored at an average of 8.1 points per game with 2.2 rebounds for the LA Lakers. Monica’s 7th studio album is currently worked upon and will be out quickly. She is also expected to release a lead single which will come out in 2011 summer. Monica has also appeared on the small screen in shows like Living Single, Beverly Hills 90210, American Dreams and Felicity.
