Recently introduced pat-down process has given rise to huge controversies among the fliers. Though the
new security system has been made effective for improving security reasons of the airport and planes,
people consider it has curbed their privacy. While there is a huge controversy over the TSA pat-down
measures, SNL TSA Skit has added fuel to the fire.

Once more, Saturday Night Live brought up a controversial issue in the show. This week, it has
made a complete parody of the recently introduced TSA pat-down process in an extremely witty
manner. According to the reports, the cast and crew members of Saturday Night Live filmed a mock
commercial for TSA, which focused on the new pat-down measure. It has been reported that the mock
television advertisement material, which some consider is a bit explicit stated, anyone who want to
spend, “quality time with a TSA agent”, just needs to board a flight from the US airports.

The new pat-down system of TSA has been implemented to check whether the passengers boarding
from the US airports are carrying any fire arms or explosives in their body. Now, the TSA agents will pat-
down the body of the boarders and scan the unclothed image of their body to see whether they are
carrying any weapons or not. Though this has been implemented to tighten the security measures of the
airports, people consider it to be a new way of getting molested in airports. SNL has made a parody of
the issue but many others have voiced against this issue and tried to attract people’s attention on it.
