It has been discovered that the Space Shuttle Discovery, has been leaking fuel on the launching pad.
In case the issue is not fixed any time soon, it is clear the small leaks of fuels might delay the planned launch of Discovery on November 1. This time round, Discovery is flying for the last time to the International Space Station (ISS).

NASA to Repair Discovery Leaks for Last Visit to ISS

On Monday, the Shuttle’s engineers met during the day to come up with a plan for repair. Also in the course of the week, its technicians will be tightening the leaking fuel’s bolts. If this will not help, it is believed they could replace about four seals or a chunk of the Shuttle’s line.

NASA however replaced the cap on the system last week, although it hardly stopped the leak. Fuel for the rocket helps in maneuvering the shuttle as it scales the orbit.
