Obama is not the only one who faced a shellacking in the 2010 election debacle. In the TCU vs Utah football blowout, TCU thrashed Utah with a stunning 47-7 scoreline. The Horned Frogs TCU are ranked fourth and they showed No. 6 Utah who is the boss when it comes to the college football’s best team. It was a blackout for Utah at the Rice-Eccles Stadium where TCU grabbed the initiative from the word go. TCU can now gun for back-to-back conference crowns if they clinch victory against San Diego State in their next week outing, with the home crowd backing them. The icing on the cake would be a Thanksgiving weekend victory to finish an undefeated regular season. There was high anticipation around the TCU vs Utah this Saturday with the match being touted as a classic showdown between two of the elite teams in the short but star-studded history that Mountain West Conference can boast of. What followed was a nightmare assault on Utah, with Saturday destined to be a red-letter day in the TCU football program. Utah must be wishing the datE to be erased out of the calendar. The Frogs’ defence stifled all efforts by Utah’s offence, with a barricade that lasted for a full first 47 minutes. As no one from Utah was managing to cross the 50-yard line, TCU quarterback Andy Dalton put in impressive effort, ending 19-for-23 with three touchdowns. He raked in an astounding passer rating of 244.35 |
