There is a big chance Trey Burton might take Tim Tebow’s place in history and glory. Florida has always doubted whether they would ever come across a good quarterback as Tebow until Trey Burton entered the game. The backup quarterback freshman for Florida Gators was on point, scoring on six touchdowns. For the record, Tim Tebow’s record stood at five touchdowns within a single game, with all Gator fans hoping Trey Burton will keep his game up high even in the future. The Gators were playing against the Wildcats of Kentucky, with Trey Burton rushing five times as well as scoring 5 times. As much as Burton might not be a big name yet, the start he has made is wonderful news for any Gator faithful. Home of Florida Gators: Urban Meyer's 100th Victory Against Kentucky Trey Burton’s touchdowns and Gators win culminates 100th Urban Meyer career victory, in six personal touchdowns, putting Gators 48-14 Wildcats. Florida were very intense in the offense at 466 yards, with Burton and his Bandwagon closing drives. Burton gave UF so many things they have lacked, from taking touches, rushes, receiving and passing and balancing the Gators play. The Gators next game is against Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night, but they just might not be able to stack up to them, although it should not be an issue. The Florida Gators have shown their excellence at looking beyond the box and unleashing Burton while at the same time asking Deonte Thompson, who made five catches, 86 yards and Carl Moore, who had 4 catches, 72 yards to try and covert their third downs.
