Terry Collins: A Manager To Push The Mets In The Right Direction

Terry Collins is ready to take up the two year contract with the Mets. The Mets will welcome him on
Tuesday as their manager. The 41 year old is expected to bring back some discipline into the team.

Collins is a man of excellence. He is not the one who will sit back to be just a puppet. He would rather
hit the switch and stay nowhere near mediocrity. Team managers are not of much influence and are
majorly the spokesperson. Collins prefers to push the players and let their game speak. Mets fans are
eagerly awaiting a change in the course of the team. After four consequent disappointing seasons,
even the Mets are trying hard to get back their ticket buyers. With Collins at the helm of the on field
proceedings, the office plans to make future investment a bit more wisely. The team has been spending
rather recklessly with poor outcomes. It’s a pretty difficult scenario for the coaches in the game. If they
are winning matches, they are applauded, while on loosing, they are not worth the catch. There the
managers are expected to bear the passion for the game and pitch for the on field reliability. He spoke
to the news media recently. The feisty Collins was at fault several times including his arrest for driving
under influence in 2002. However the wave of development he brings on makes a statement on its own
accord. He believes in pure intensity and never backs off. His sincerity towards the game earns him
respect.
