Thanksgiving wallpapers the newest rage

Still got the blues with your Halloween hangover? Lighten up with a fun Thanksgiving Wallpaper that will jazz up the desktop or notebook, be it in the workplace or at home. Those with a DIY streak and a penchant for drawing and design can also make their own unique Thanksgiving wallpapers with snazzy messages and cute motifs.

A sure-fire hit with the kid gang would be animated Disneyfied 3D backgrounds. Angst-ridden existentialist turkeys that plead that you gorge on beef instead are also a favorite. You can download free wallpapers from the web, and even choose from sites where you can get your own message and images customized to perfection. To score with your latest crush, you can also add images from the album.

These wallpapers will sure bust the “Halloween is gone” blues and set the tone for Thanksgiving festivities. Be spoilt for choice with autumn foliage, turkeys and pilgrims. Here is the trivia to note: Thanksgiving feasts date back to 1621 where Mayflower pilgrims shared grub with their neighbours in Wampanoag. Canadian festivities can be traced back even earlier with Martin Frobisher organizing a feast given to thank the end of the tortuous journey to Newfoundland.

There are wallpapers in which turkeys scuttle across to and fro or where autumn leaves keep flying down. There are static ones too for those who dislike distracting movements.

Geek advice to heed: make sure you scan that wallpaper for malware or you may end up ruing a virus-infested comp.
