Working for a luxurious state-of-the-art hotel like Hilton is definitely a lucrative source of income as a summer job. Well, a number of Memphians working for this renowned hotel have been laid off duty only a day after the new designs of the new downtown hotel were revealed. Approximately 101 Memphis Tennessee Hilton Hotel employees have said goodbye to their summer jobs.

The elimination of summer jobs is due to the famous outsourcing, which provides quality services and great performance. The company restructuring has also contributed to the lay off. Thirty-six summer jobs are to be eliminated especially in the IT department; Hilton will work on contracts with AT&T and IBM.
