The Karen Owen List is the culmination of a thesis joke that is all about education beyond the walls ding of the classroom and extending to ” the realm of horizontal academics”. Karen says all there is to say about the missionary position, and the list is a “thesis” catalogue elaborating in explicit detail her serial encounters with every Duke University athlete there is. It became an internet sensation and spread like wildfire the moment it was posted.

The result was that the horizontal academician was forced to pull down all her social network profiles, as vitriolic hatred and scorn poured from all net denizens.

The American hate magnet took an easy route to fame, but bit off more than she could chew. Her power point presentation posing as a thesis lists all of 13 DU athletes, compiled with an eye for detail that would make a Homeric catalogue break into a sweat. Ok, comparison rescinded, Homer’s turning in his ancient grave.

The Karen Owen List has a rating of 1 to 10 for each athlete, with dishy details of physical attributes, complete with names and contact numbers. Some agree that she would make a great Madame at a gigolo stud farm with her hard-sell tactics.

Karen has now turned contrite with a holier than thou attitude, saying she never meant to “intentionally hurt” the people listed and sincerely “regrets it” with all her heart. After Paris Hilton gross-out tapes and sleaze lists, wait for the next batch of smut to hit the net.
