An adventurous couple who sought to dispense with the inanities of a mundane wedding had a fun-filled marriage ceremony during the Halloween weekend. The ceremony, which took place at Chessington’s Holiday Inn, had each wedding table named after a theme park ride on the Chessington World Adventures.

They had taken a tour of the latter earlier and taken photos of themselves on the rides, which adorned each table that was named after the respective ride.

Halloween Wedding With a Difference

They then had the guests take rides on Friday and Saturday; an aspect which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The newly-weds, Diane and Les Shields, who are in their late 40s have three children, Alistair, 20, Cameron,15 and George, 6. The oldest, Alistair admitted his parents have always had an adventurous side and he was not the least bit surprised at the Halloween wedding theme.

The couple, which says their friends are always nagging them to get married, is in the process of putting together honeymoon plans in a destination more exotic than Alton Towers. Best of luck have been flowing to the lovebirds in a Halloween wedding uniqueness.
