Rumors have been flying since the last Presidential election that we haven’t seen the last of Sarah Palin. In a recent presentation she gave in Iowa, she gave some indicators on her own that we will be seeing her in the running for President in 2012. The event in Iowa was actually one of the biggest fundraiser events held annually for the Republican Party.

The fact that Iowa is also one of the biggest states to getting onto a Presidential ballot through early voting can be viewed as an indicator that her statements were made to let key advocates know she will be looking for support in the near future. She was in good spirits and made jokes that pointed that she will be up for the challenge in the next Presidential election. She is getting her name out there early and that is important. Iowa will be the place where many Presidential hopefuls make their start in the near future.

Many believe Palin would be very controversial as President. Not only would she be the first female President, but she has ideas that will certainly shake things up from what has been taking place in politics for some time now. She does have her supporters though in large numbers. There are many that feel the Presidential role does need to be turned upside down – and that she is just the right person to make it happen. It will be interesting to see how things progress and that 2012 election gets closer.
