It is Thanksgiving time and people may have some travel plans this week. Therefore, they are searching
for the updates of the Idaho road conditions, which have been affected by the winter weather.
According to the reports, winter weather conditions have blocked some of the busy roads of the state,
causing difficulty in traffic movement.
The officials of the Idaho Transportation Department declared that some of the major highways of the
state have been closed for adverse weather condition. Therefore, people should check the updates of
road closures before leaving their house. Several roads were partially closed from Sunday and there
is no update when the roads will be opened for normal traffic movements. According to the reports,
Interstate 15 in the north of the Idaho Falls has been affected by the winter weather and closing of this
road is causing a great inconvenience for people.
Reports state, the staffs of the Idaho Transportation Department are working to clear up the roads
and open it for normal traffic movements. However, they cannot mention any exact time, when the
road conditions will become stable. As the roads in different parts of the state have been affected by
the adverse weather conditions, officials have requested people to remain indoors if there is not an
emergency.
Even if someone has to leave their house in this wintry condition, they should take necessary
precautions. People are requested to keep lights, extra food and water in their car so that they can
survive if they get stuck in some place. Work is on progress to clear the roads but it appears everything
will become normal once the weather condition improves.
