Wiz Khalifa was arrested and jailed after a East Carolina University show with a case for alleged drug possession slapped on him. Reports say that following his performance last night in Greenville at North Carolina, the rapper was put in the dock.

Wiz Khalifa who hails from Pittsburgh arrived in East Carolina University to perform his rap gig for students and admirers when 45 minutes into the set, the event was cut short.

The event was scheduled as part of a series of the Waken Baken Tour 2010 which cut a swathe through the nation. The 23-year-old Pittsburgh rapper was present for a live performance at the Wright Auditorium.

The Waken Baken Tour 2010 was a 60-date-gig which took off on 16th September and is set to end on 21st November with a finale in Boston.

But things came to an ignominious end on the night that rapper Big Krit was set to open for Khalifa. Wiz Khalifa’s real life name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz and in the past, he had bragged in interviews about how he blew $10,000 a month on weed. This cost him dear as the police cracked down on him for alleged possession of marijuana. Guess Wiz Khalifa must be wishing that Prop 19 was passed to legalize MJ.

Wiz Khalifa recent hit “Black and Yellow” is ruling the charts . His last tweet was laced with many a references to pot. Talk about a big mouth.
