26 miners were rescued from the depths of the mine in Chile, as the whole world kept a keen watch on the rescue operations. The miners had been trapped down there for the last 69 days and will be subjected to medical observation for the next 2 days.

However, the surfacing of one of the miners named Yonni Barrios created quite a stir as his emergence revealed a love triangle involving his wife of 28 years, Marta Salinas and his mistress Susana Venezuela.

As Barrios was rescued and came to surface again he was greeted by a warm hug by his mistress, Susana while his wife decided to stay away at the time of his emergence owing of his infidelity. Marta started to sense foul play when she found out about Susana keeping a constant anxious vigil in the rescue of Barrios. Susana claimed she met Barrios five years ago in a training course and she was the reason why Barrios was planning to leave his wife.

Though at first Marta chose to stand by her husband’s side, eventually the miner’s infidelity became evident when he invited both his wife and mistress to be present at the time of resurgence. His wife declined to be present as she wanted her husband to choose any one of them. Similar such cases were reported in the case of other miners as well with around 5 wives having to deal with their husbands’ mistresses.
