The famous actor, martial artist and film producer Wesley Trent Snipes, who is better known as Wesley
Snipes has been ordered three years of imprisonment for not filing his tax returns in due time. Snipes’
who is best remembered for his performance in Blade trilogy has been asked to surrender immediately
                and accept the imprisonment sentence.
According to reports of the sources, on Friday, Judge William Terrell Hodges had issued three years
imprisonment for the actor. The lawyer of the actor had appealed for the reviewing the imprisonment
sentence and grant his plea of starting a new trial. However, the judge, who believed the trial has been
fair did not want to waste time further and rejected his plea.
Official reports state, the charge of not filing tax return was made on the actor more than two years ago,
in April 2008. So far, the actor was able to avoid imprisonment sentence and was on bail. However, the
sentence issued on Friday clearly states that his bail term has ended and he will have to surrender.
The sentence has been issued on Friday and some sources stated the actor has already surrendered to
the authorities. When contacted by media representatives, his lawyer Daniel Meachum said that the
actor was busy for shooting of a new movie in Atlanta, when the decision was declared. Though the
news was unexpected to him, the actor had remained extremely “calm and composed” after hearing it.
Daniel Meachum, though could not save his client from imprisonment this time, said they will now move
                to Supreme Court.
