President Obama has visited Michigan on Friday, to celebrate the comebacks of General Motors and Chrysler Group as proof that his economic policy is working.
The visit comes a year after a difficult but necessary move designed by Washington to save both companies from a bankruptcy process. The 2010 edition of San Francisco Marathon has designated its winners. The best result was obtained by Keith Bechtol from Indiana, United States, who won the Full Marathon in 2 hours 23 minutes and 28 seconds, followed by Michael Wardian, 2:25:21 and Harm Sengers, 2:29:23.
Chikara Omine is the winner of the women marathon in 2 hours 42minutes and 12 seconds, followed by Emily Harsin, 2:51:54 and Brandy Bengoechea, 2:53:26.

San Francisco Marathon first results will be known very soon. In the mean time the competitors are still running along their long route, being motivated by different causes. Unlike the marathons in New York or Chicago, which draw around of 40,000 participants each, stimulated by attractive prizes, here most of the athletes run for charity.

The 32nd edition of San Francisco Marathon started and more traffic disruptions will take place along the marathon routes, but many detours will be clearly posted around.
The Golden Gate Bridge was configured to one northbound lane and two southbound lanes between 6 and 9 a.m. The Vista Point and southeast parking lots was closed from midnight and will be re-opened around of 10 a.m.
At the Embarcadero the traffic will be closed between Broadway and Third streets until 1:45 p.m.
